Why was Shri Krishna happy on the death of Bhima’s son?
According to Mahabharata, Bhima’s son Ghatotkacha belonged to the demon caste. Being of demon caste, he had many divine and magical powers. When Ghatotkacha came to fight on behalf of the Pandavas, he created panic in the Kaurava army. Within no time there was a stampede in the Kaurava army. Kaurava’s commander Guru Dronacharya was also unable to kill Ghatotkacha. Then Duryodhana went to his friend Karna and asked him to stop Ghatotkacha.
