Ongole MP Magunta Sreenivasula Reddy stirred up the entire YSR Congress Ecosystem with a Single Statement.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in his constituency today to inaugurate the first stage of the Veligonda Project.
Speaking at the event, Magunta Sreenivasula Reddy said,
Obviously, Magunta is referring to the Reddy Community who are perceived to be strong supporters of YSR Congress.
Going by the reactions on social media and in the media, the entire ecosystem got stirred up with a single comment, and they are after Magunta for that statement.
This statement enraged them the most because the Ongole MP was referring to the community and also called Jagan as ‘Moorkudu’.
Also, the statement came at a time when YSR Congress is trying its level best to somehow get credit for the completion of first phase works of the Project.
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu outlined the funds spent during his regime and other regimes to end the credit war.
The Veligonda Project is vital as it diverts surplus Krishna floodwaters through tunnels to irrigate 4.47 lakh acres in drought-prone Prakasam, Nellore and Kadapa districts, ending chronic crop failures and agricultural distress.
It also supplies safe drinking water to 15-23 lakh people in fluoride-affected areas, reducing groundwater dependence, health risks and migration while boosting horticulture and rural development.
