Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 was inaugurated in Bhopal. The state’s tourism industry got a new direction with investment proposals of Rs 3665 crore and Ekta Kapoor’s investment of Rs 50 crore. CM Mohan Yadav announced to organize it every year.

Bhopal. 11 October was recorded as a special day in the history of Madhya Pradesh. On this day, the beauty of the state attracted the attention of the whole world and new employment opportunities opened up for the youth.

Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025, organized at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center in Bhopal, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat by lighting the lamp. This program will continue till October 13.

During this, an important MoU was signed between Balaji Telefilms and Madhya Pradesh Tourism. Under this, famous filmmaker Ekta Kapoor will invest Rs 50 crore in the next five years and will show a glimpse of Madhya Pradesh in her films and web series.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that now Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart will be organized every year on 11-12-13 October. This time, investors have given investment proposals worth more than Rs 3665 crore in the Mart, which will create new opportunities for economic development and employment in the state.

Many renowned personalities from the film and tourism world including actors Raghuveer Yadav and Gajraj Rao attended the program.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav shared the pride of cultural and natural richness of Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the country is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh is also moving in the same direction. He said that Bhopal’s Minto Hall, where the Legislative Assembly once sat, is now presenting the tourism heritage of the state to the world.

The CM said, “Imagine which is the capital in the world where a tiger can be seen on the road — this is possible only in Madhya Pradesh.” He told that in the historical buildings of Mandava, fountains run up to the third floor even without electricity, which is an example of our ancient engineering.

Travel Mart: A confluence of cultures and a symbol of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart is not just a business conference but a confluence of cultures. This event is a concrete step towards taking forward Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign.

He informed that this is one of the largest state level travel marts in the country, in which more than 100 international experts, 150 domestic tour operators and more than 700 participants from 27 countries participated.

More than 4,000 business-to-business (B2B) meetings took place during the Mart, the largest ever business meetings in the history of Madhya Pradesh tourism.

These meetings have created a strong business network between local entrepreneurs and the global tourism industry, which will give new energy to the state’s economy in the coming years.

Regional tourism conclave changed the picture of the state

The Chief Minister said that the aim of the government is to take development to every corner of the state. Under this thinking, Regional Tourism Conclave was started in Gwalior-Chambal, Vindhya and Sagar regions.

Excellent results were obtained from these conclaves-

  • Investment proposal worth Rs 3,500 crore in Gwalior
  • Investment proposal worth Rs 3,000 crore in Rewa

A total investment of Rs 6,500 crore has the potential to change the economic and tourism landscape of these areas.

Main objective of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart

The Chief Minister said that the objective of MPTM is to highlight the incomparable tourism wealth of the ‘Heartland of India’ on the global stage. This event brings together tourism experts, investors and hospitality sector people from India and abroad.

Its aim is to take the historical heritage, wildlife and culture of Madhya Pradesh to every corner of the world while strengthening trade relations, so that more tourists come here and the tourism industry reaches new heights.
