New Delhi: A shocking incident has been reported from Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh, where a man allegedly murdered his wife. Not just that, the man in fact stayed with the dead body for two days with their child present.
The incident took place in a village and the accused has been identified as a 38-year-old Jagdish Dabar. He used to live with his 25-year-old second wife Reemabai and their two children, aged three and four.
As per the information shared by police, the two used to fight over small disputes, and the accused often used to assault her wife. On the night of the incident, a dispute broke out between the two over food and eventually escalated.
Murder after domestic abuse
Jagdish repeatedly attacked his wife with a wooden stick in rage, leaving her brutally injured with injuries all over her body. She died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. The accused didn’t inform the police after killing her and slept for two days on the same cot beside the body.
The incident came to light when the accused’s father informed the police, and they rushed to the sight. The police personnel arrested Jagdish and took custody of his dead wife’s body.
Police said that the guy had earlier left his wife and four children and married his sister-in-law. His first wife left him after his second marriage, after which the two used to live with their two children.

The accused has been produced before a local court and, for now, has been sent to jail as further investigation is ongoing.
