Madhya Pradesh exported goods worth Rs 66218 crore in the financial year 2024-25. The state government has achieved great success from the Nivesh Mitra Policy. Exports of pharmaceutical, engineering goods and soy based agricultural products have increased.

According to the latest report of the Federation of Indian Export Organization, the Mercandise Export contributed Rs 66,218 crore. In the Special Economic Zone, information technology companies have contributed Rs 4038 crore to the state’s export portfolio. Due to this, Madhya Pradesh’s ranking in export at the national level has increased from 15 to 11.

According to the report, MP has increased the ranking due to pharmaceutical, engineering goods and soy -based agricultural products. The policies of Nivesh Mitra Industrial Development have supported. Industries have increased in the state. This has increased exports. Infrastructure that encourages Nir Arat has been developed, which has increased the attraction of international markets towards Madhya Pradesh.

Till last year, pharmaceutical, animal feed, machinery, aluminum and textiles were five such sectors, which were included in the first five nir -niryat. Madhya Pradesh has a large market of Niryat, mainly in Bangladesh, France, UAE and Netherlands. The largest market for Madhya Pradesh in the export of pharmaceutical and machinery is US. In the year 2024-25 from Madhya Pradesh, pharmaceuticals worth Rs 11,968 crore, animal feed of Rs 6062, aluminum worth Rs 4795 crore and machinery worth Rs 5497 were exported.

Export data from special economic zone

  • Dhar- Rs 17,830 crore was exported.
  • Indore- Rs 13,500 crore was exported. From here, the pharmaceutical, automatic and food processing sector were exported.
  • Ujjain- Rs 2,288 crore was exported. This includes industrial, agricultural based products and food processing products.
