Chhath Puja 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Vikram Sarovar in Ujjain on Tuesday, the last day of Chhath festival, and performed Chhath puja. CM said- Bihar is also the land of Buddha and Mahavir, who with their knowledge provided direction not only to the country but to the entire world.

CMi Dr Yadav Chhath Puja in Ujjain: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while giving good wishes and congratulations to the people of Purvanchal and North-East on the wonderful Chhath festival, said that the festival of Chhath Maiya is a festival of worship of Sun and water based on scientific method. Lord Suryanarayan runs the entire creation by providing energy to it, life has originated from water only. Chhat Vrat gives us self-control, restraint and self-confidence. This festival is unique in worshiping the rising and setting sun. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the devotees after attending the Chhath puja organized on Tuesday at Vikram Sarovar located at Samrat Vikramaditya University, Ujjain.

Bihar determines the direction of India

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bihar decides the direction of India. God has special blessings on Bihar. Bihar is also the land of Buddha and Mahavir, who with their knowledge provided direction not only to the country but to the entire world. If any state produces the maximum number of IAS and IPS, it is Bihar. On the strength of simplicity, determination, ability and capability, the people of Bihar make their mark all over India.

Madhya Pradesh and Bihar have relations since ancient times

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bihar has had a relation with Madhya Pradesh since ancient times. Madhya Pradesh has been called the motherland of rivers. The water of Shipra Maiya reaches Bihar through Chambal Maiya, Yamuna Maiya and Ganga Maiya. Son river originating from Amarkantak reaches Bihar through Mother Ganga and spreads prosperity there.

CM Mohan Yadav told the importance of Chhath festival

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Chhathi Maiya fast is observed by mothers and sisters for the prosperity of the country, state and family. The sacrifice of mothers and sisters maintains the unity of the family. Our culture is mother power based culture, our country has been considered as “Mother India”. Mothers and sisters, despite enduring all the hardships in their family, serve the entire family and pray for well-being. Mothers and sisters are the biggest warriors.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all festivals and festivals play an important role in the unity of India. A grand Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In Sitamarhi too, a grand temple is being built at a cost of Rs 800 crore under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Mother Sita’s life is a source of inspiration for the whole of India. She went to the forest even though she was a princess. The concept of Ram Rajya was also completed with the resolve of Mother Sita.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Chhath puja at Vikram Sarovar and after discussing with the devotees, gave best wishes for Chhath festival. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Vikram Sarovar is a symbol of the bravery of Emperor Vikramaditya. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the construction of Mithila Ghat on Vikram Sarovar. Public representatives and a large number of devotees were present in the program.
