Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit recently shared a heartfelt revelation about her long-cherished dream of marriage and family.
On the popular quiz show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’, while interacting with contestants Shiv Thakare and Gautami Patil, Madhuri openly discussed how she knew her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, was the one.
“I always wanted to get married. It was my dream to have a family, a home, children, everything,” Madhuri explained. She further elaborated, “When I met Dr. Nene, I felt, ‘This is the person I want in my life,’ and that is why I married him.” She drew a parallel to a famous dialogue from her film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, stating, “You remember the dialogue from Dil To Pagal Hai, ‘Kahin na kahin, koi na koi mere liye banaya gaya hai… aur kabhi na kabhi main usse zaroor miloongi.’ That is what happened to me. When I met him, I felt he was the one.”
This personal insight came as Shiv Thakare, known for his stint on ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’, was asked about his own marriage plans. Shiv responded that he hopes to marry a Marathi girl soon, though he currently has no one special in his life. He then sought advice from Madhuri, prompting her to share her journey of finding a life partner. Madhuri Dixit married cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Shriram Nene in October 1999, and the couple has two sons, Arin and Ryan. Their return to India after living in the United States marked a new chapter for the family.
