Atmosphere changed after marriage, strange ‘tradition’ narrated in in-laws’ house
According to the victim, she was married to a young man named Kotuk Mishra. When she reached her in-laws’ house after marriage, everything remained normal for a few days. But one night the atmosphere at home suddenly changed. The woman says that her mother-in-law told her to start the puja related to Tantra-Mantra at home after midnight. The mother-in-law reportedly said that her family’s wealth and progress was due to this puja. According to the victim, the mother-in-law also told that she often goes to Kolkata and gets such Tantric puja done.

According to the woman, her mother-in-law said that every member of the family has to participate in this puja. The victim alleges that she was told that to participate in this ritual, everyone had to sit without clothes and she too would have to do the same. She got nervous after hearing this and clearly refused.
