Ravi Kishan is known for his excellent acting. Part 2 of his series ‘Maamla Legal Hai’ has been released on Netflix. The second season has once again brought a great mix of humor and social commentary. This time VD Tyagi, i.e. Ravi Kishan, gets promotion and sits on the judge’s chair. But if you think that this will settle everything in Patparganj Court, then you are wrong, more strange and funny situations are seen here than before.
The season itself starts with a grand entry, where Tyagi steps into his new chamber with full drama. The issue of taking oath again due to a minor cough during the oath taking ceremony, and Tyagi’s denial of it, is where the show starts taking a dig at the system and ego in its typical style.
Ravi Kishan deals with strange cases
The cases facing Tyagi after becoming a judge are no less strange. Sometimes he comes across the case of rats eating marijuana, and sometimes the case of a gate giving electric shock. How he handles these cases is very interesting to watch. VD Tyagi is often seen in a dilemma whether it is right to punish an innocent person or not. Issues like gender bias and consent have also been raised in this show in a smart manner.

Entry of Kusha Kapila and Nirahua
The supporting cast remains the major strength of this season. The chemistry of Nidhi Bist and Anjum Batra will be more fun to watch than before. Naila Grewal has got a stronger track this time. Kusha Kapila enters this show. Apart from this, the character of Nirahua brings freshness and comedy to the show. This eight-episode season maintains a good balance between humor and message.

The story is light-hearted, but it also has depth. Although the pace of the show seems a little slow at some places, but director Rahul Pandey did not let it deviate from its original style.
