Maa Baglamukhi temple controversy: Conspiracy to remove 200 Pandits! Big responsibility snatched from SDM Susner – News Himachali News Himachali

A major administrative dispute has come to light related to the famous Maa Baglamukhi temple of Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh. The temple pundits started an indefinite agitation against Susner SDM Sarvesh Yadav.

The Pandits stopped the havan rituals and staged a protest in the temple premises, accusing the SDM of foul language and arbitrariness.

There was a tense situation in the Maa Baglamukhi temple located in Nalkheda when the pundits surrounded SDM Sarvesh Yadav who had reached the temple during the protest and raised slogans. Pandits say that abusive words have been used by the SDM and a conspiracy is being hatched to remove about 200 Pandits who have been conducting pujas for years, due to which their livelihood is in danger.

Audio Viral: Allegation of use of objectionable words

Making this whole matter more serious, an audio has also gone viral on social media, in which objectionable words have been used allegedly by the SDM for Pandits. After the audio surfaced, there was huge anger among the pundits and they sat on strike in the temple premises itself.

After the matter gained momentum, the administration came into action. Additional Collector R.P. Verma and Additional SP Ravindra Boyt reached Nalkheda and discussed with the pundits. After this, a major administrative decision was taken on the instructions of the Collector. By issuing the order, the entire charge of Maa Baglamukhi Temple Committee has been removed from SDM Susner Sarvesh Yadav and handed over to Deputy Collector Kamal Mandloi. At present the agitation of the Pandits is continuing and they are demanding further action against the SDM. The administration is said to be investigating the matter.
