MG Select, the luxury brand channel of JSW MG Motor India, has announced the introduction of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership programme for the MG Cyberster and MG M9, offering luxury customers greater flexibility and choice in electric mobility.
Under the BaaS programme, customers can now own the MG Cyberster EV at a BaaS price of Rs 72.49 lakh, along with a battery rental charge of Rs 8.00/km. The MG M9 EV is available at a BaaS price of Rs 69.99 lakh, with a battery rental charge of Rs 8.00/km.
MG M9 Details
The MG M9 features a 90kWh NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) battery paired with a front-mounted electric motor. The powertrain produces power worth 245bhp and 350Nm. MG claims that the electric luxury MPV delivers a range of 548km on a single charge. The M9 takes 90 minutes to fully charge using a 160kW DC fast charger, while charging via an 11kW AC charger takes 10 hours.

MG Cyberster Details
The powertrain setup of the MG Cyberster includes a 77kWh battery pack and a dual electric motor setup, delivering a maximum power of 510bhp and 725Nm of torque. It comes with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The Cyberster does 0 to 100kmph in 3.2 seconds and has a drag coefficient of 0.269 Cd. JSW MG Motor India offers a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery for the first owner and a three-year unlimited kilometer vehicle warranty.
