Ludhiana Lions secured a six-wicket victory against Fazilka Falcons in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League at I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The Lions successfully chased a target of 201, led by half-centuries from Bikramjeet Singh and Salil Arora.
Fazilka Falcons posted 200 for 3 in their 20 overs, following an impressive batting performance. Despite losing Vihaan Malhotra early, Anshul Chaudhary and Pranshu Pratap stabilised the innings with an 86-run partnership. Pranshu reached a half-century before being dismissed, while Anshul scored 65 off 47 balls before retiring out.
Sanvir Singh provided a powerful finish, hitting an unbeaten 59 from 28 balls with five sixes, propelling the Falcons past the 200-run mark.
For Ludhiana, Kartik Chadha was the most economical bowler, conceding only 19 runs in four overs though he did not claim a wicket.
In response, Ludhiana lost Abhijeet Garg early, but Bikramjeet Singh and Salil Arora quickly regained momentum, compiling a 114-run partnership. Bikramjeet scored 58 off 35 deliveries, while Arora played aggressively, scoring 78 from 38 balls to maintain the run chase.
Arjun Rajput and Karteek Sharma then contributed to guide the Lions towards victory. Karteek scored 15 from 10 balls before being dismissed, while Arjun remained unbeaten on 35 off 18 balls as Ludhiana reached their target comfortably with six wickets remaining.
