Lucknow Telibagh Flyover: Relief will be given soon from the huge jam at Telibagh intersection of the capital Lucknow. The flyover to be built at a cost of Rs 161 crore has been approved. Due to this, more than 1 lakh vehicles will get rid of jams daily.
The roads of the capital are often stuck in jam, and the biggest problem is the name of Telibagh Square. Thousands of people lose time and patience here every day, many times the lives of patients are in trouble. Now the government has taken a big step to get rid of this problem. The Telibagh flyover project, which has been stuck for three years, has finally been approved.
850 meter long flyover will be built at a cost of 161 crores
The first survey of this flyover proposed to solve the Telibagh intersection jam problem took place 3 years ago. Its cost was estimated at around Rs 145 crore. But due to non -approval, the project went into cold storage. Now on the instructions of the government, the survey was done again and the cost increased to Rs 161 crore. The construction work is set to start soon by including the project in the action plan.

More than 1 lakh vehicles pass through Telibagh intersection daily
The importance of Telibagh intersection can be gauged from the fact that 6 main roads including Alambagh, Cantt, Vrindavan Colony are found here. According to the data of Setu Nigam, more than 1 lakh small and big vehicles pass through this route daily. This is the reason why traffic pressure is always there. Ambulances and patients going towards SGPGI Hospital also often face problems due to jam.
What will be the benefit to the residents of Lucknow?
With the construction of Telibagh flyover, people going to Rae Bareli Road, Alambagh Road, Cantonment Area, Vrindavan Colony and SGPGI Hospital will get relief from the jam. Also, the pressure of vehicles going from Agra Expressway and Kanpur Road will also be reduced. As soon as the flyover is completed, it will be easy to travel from Cantt to Rae Bareli Road and Alambagh VIP Road to Shaheed Path without traffic jams.

The expectations of the Lucknow people regarding the Telibagh flyover have increased further. People want the construction work to be completed rapidly so that the jam can get rid of and the journey becomes easier.
