On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the citizens of Lucknow and said that the capital is now truly realizing the identity of “Smile that you are in Lucknow”. He said that today Lucknow is moving forward rapidly as a modern and developed city of new India. The Chief Minister said that the capital of any state should be such where people’s life is easy and they can reach their destination without any hassle. For this purpose, modern connectivity and strong infrastructure is being developed rapidly in Lucknow.

Lucknow Green Corridor came true with the vision of Rajnath Singh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when the idea of ​​improving the traffic system of Lucknow came up, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had presented its vision. Taking forward the same vision, Lucknow Development Authority brought this project on the ground. He said that this project is an important step towards making the traffic system in the capital more organized, faster and modern. This will provide better transportation facilities to the city residents and reduce traffic problems.

Project worth Rs 1,519 crore completed without government budget

The Chief Minister said that the state government did not give a separate budget for this project. Lucknow Development Authority freed the city’s government land from illegal encroachments and collected resources by utilizing it properly. Through these resources the project was completed at a cost of approximately Rs 1,519 crore. He said that this is an inspiring example in the field of urban development that with better management and proper utilization of resources, even big projects can be completed without additional budget.

28 kilometer long green corridor will connect the capital

The Chief Minister said that under the Green Corridor Project, the construction of the first two phases from IIM Road to Pucca Bridge and Pucca Bridge (Daliganj) to Samta Mulak Square has been completed, which were inaugurated. Along with this, the foundation stone of the third and fourth phase from Samta Mulak Chauraha to Shaheed Path and from Shaheed Path to Kisan Path has also been laid. The entire project will be approximately 28 kilometers long, which will make transportation more convenient by connecting different parts of the capital.

45 minute journey will now be completed in 10-15 minutes

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after the construction of the Green Corridor, there will be a big change in the traffic system of the capital. Whereas earlier it used to take 45 minutes to an hour for people to reach their destination, now the same distance can be covered in just 10 to 15 minutes. This will save time and the problem of traffic jam in the city will also reduce to a great extent. He said that the infrastructure is continuously being strengthened in Lucknow. After freeing the land from illegal encroachments, development work is being done there at a cost of crores of rupees, due to which new facilities are being developed in the city.

Lucknow is becoming a model of modern capital

The Chief Minister said that today people coming from across the country and abroad appreciate the cleanliness, better road system and modern facilities of Lucknow. He told that during the government of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Rajnath Singh had given the gift of Martyr’s Path to Lucknow.

Later, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the help of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Kisan Path was constructed, which gave a new identity to Lucknow as the Outer Ring Road. Today these routes have become the strong foundation of the city’s expansion and future development.

Lucknow is becoming a new center of defense production and technology.

The Chief Minister said that Lucknow is progressing rapidly not only in the field of infrastructure but also in the field of emerging technology and defense production. Due to the efforts of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BrahMos Missile Project has been established here, where young engineers and technical experts of the state are working. Dr. The youth educated from APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Engineering College, Polytechnic and ITI are now getting employment opportunities in their own state.

Lucknow developing as state capital region

The Chief Minister said that the state government is also working towards developing Lucknow as a State Capital Region (SCR). This will make balanced and rapid development of the capital and surrounding areas possible. He told that the program was organized in Jhulelal Vatika, which was once under illegal occupation. It has been removed and now developed for public use. He also informed that Jhulelal Mahotsav will be organized here on the occasion of New Year (Chaitra Shukla Pratipada) from March 19.

Lucknow got a big gift of green corridor

The approximately 7 km long road from Daliganj Pakka Bridge to Samatamulak Crossing has been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 299 crore, which is part of the second phase of the Green Corridor Project.

With the opening of this road, transportation in the city will become easier and traffic pressure will also reduce. Apart from this, the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 1,220 crore of the third and fourth phases of the Green Corridor has also been laid. In future, about 28 km long green corridor will be ready from IIM Road to Pucca Bridge, Samtamulak Square, Pipraghat, Shaheed Path and Kisan Path. This corridor will become the lifeline of Lucknow and will fulfill the long-cherished dream of the city residents.
