Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the fourth Gomti Book Festival held at Lucknow University on Saturday. On this occasion, he interacted with children, girl students and Anganwadi workers and inspired them to read the book. CM said that a good book is the guide and true guide of life, which shows the way to move forward in every situation.

Lucknow University’s book fair becomes Mahakumbh of literature

Chief Minister Yogi said that this book fair will run for the next nine days and will prove to be the Mahakumbh of literature, knowledge and innovation. He appealed to the students and youth to spend less time on smartphones and study books at least one hour daily.

Yogi Adityanath, in his address, referred to Yajnavalkya sage, his wives Katyayani and Maharishi Valmiki and Goswami Tulsidas, saying that the original works remain immortal and teach generations. He asked the students to study fundamental and inspirational literature along with studies.

The Gomti Book Festival will run in Lucknow University from 20 to 28 September. It has displayed millions of books at more than 250 stalls. Creations from child creators to noted writers are available here. The Chief Minister visited various stalls and described the book exhibition as inspiring. Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, National Book Trust President Prof. Milind Sudhakar Marathe, Lucknow University Vice Chancellor Prof. Manuka Khanna, well-known writer-producer Chandraprakash Dwivedi and hundreds of literature were present on the occasion.
