‘Lucknow Darshan’ bus service has been started in Lucknow. Tourists will now be able to take organized tours of the historical and cultural sites of the capital with two tour packages, affordable fares, refreshment facilities and 10% discount till January 31.
Lucknow. Taking forward the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an important beginning has been made to give a new direction to tourism in Lucknow. This special tourist bus service, started under the name ‘Lucknow Darshan’, connects the historical, cultural and heritage sites of the capital in one thread.
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off this bus service from 1090 intersection, a symbol of women empowerment. Through this initiative, tourists will not only be exposed to the heritage of Lucknow, but will also be able to see closely the government’s social concerns and good governance efforts.
Organized tour of historical and cultural places through ‘Lucknow Darshan’
Through the ‘Lucknow Darshan’ bus service, tourists will be given a well-organized and safe tour of the major historical, cultural and tourist places of the capital. This service is especially useful for those tourists who want to understand the identity and heritage of Lucknow in a short time.
Two attractive tour packages, morning and evening
Keeping in mind the convenience of tourists, two tour packages have been prepared under ‘Lucknow Darshan’ –
- Morning Tour: 8:30 am to 11:30 am
- Evening Tour: 4 pm to 7 pm
In both these tour packages, along with major tourist destinations, refreshment facilities are also included, so that the passengers can have a comfortable experience.
Affordable fares and special rates for children
The fare of ‘Lucknow Darshan’ tour package has been kept affordable for all categories-
- Children between 5 to 12 years: ₹400 per person
- Tourists above 12 years of age: ₹500 per person
The aim of this initiative is to connect more and more tourists with Lucknow tourism.
Special discount of 10% on booking till 31st January
To encourage tourists, the government is giving a special discount of 10 percent on ticket booking till January 31. With this, both local and external tourists will be able to take advantage of this service.
Online ticket booking will be done from UPSTDC website.
Online booking of tickets for ‘Lucknow Darshan’ bus service can be done on the official website of Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) at upstdc.co.in. This has made the ticket booking process simple, transparent and convenient.
