The central government has made a big announcement before the Bihar elections. The government has approved the infrastructure project of Rs 7,616 crore for Bihar. On Wednesday, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved a new road project.
Under this approval, a four -lane new Greenfield Expressway will be built between Mokama and Munger in Bihar. This road will be 82.4 km long and will be part of the high-speed corridor to be built from Buxar to Bhagalpur. It will be made under the Hybrid annuity model (HAM). The total cost of this project will be ₹ 4,447.38 crore.
