Sanjay Leela Bhansali is presently engaged in his highly awaited next project, Love And War. According to a Pinkvilla report, the director is gearing up to start filming some of the crucial high-octane scenes of the film beginning August 2025. “Sanjay Leela Bhansali aims to finish Love And War by the end of 2025. While a significant portion of the shoot will take place at various studios in Mumbai, the team also has an outdoor segment scheduled for post-October in Europe. SLB recently conducted a recce for this in Rome,” a source disclosed to the portal.
The same source mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be filming some epic confrontations between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal starting August 2025, and the director has invested considerable time in conceptualizing and designing these dramatic, dialogue-rich sequences.

The report further indicates that Love And War is on schedule for its intended release date in March 2025, as production has been moving along smoothly. “During the breaks between two schedules, SLB and his team are working to finalize the edit of the sequences that have already been filmed. The next schedule is set to commence around August, once RK and Alia return from their vacation in London,” the source added.
Bhansali also intends to film some high-energy scenes featuring Alia Bhatt in October and November. Meanwhile, fans can anticipate a dramatic confrontation between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, which is expected to be one of the film’s key highlights.
