Content creator Sufi Motiwala, who was evicted from Netflix’s Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa at the end of July, looked back at being in the reality series as an inmate. The second season of the reality show, produced by Ektaa Kapoor, premiered on June 27, 2026. Sufi, who had also been a part of the Amazon Prime Video series, The Traitors, shared that he was much more disoriented to be a part of the Netflix series. He had a few arguments with a few people and even patched up with his Traitors contestant Rebel Kid, aka Apoorva Makhija, who joined the show midway as an informer. Speaking to us, Sufi also spoke about contestants Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi and their dynamics in the house.
Sufi reacts to Harshad and Shivangi’s friendship
In an interview with Zoom, Sufi spoke about his equation with actor after he was earlier pitted against him for elimination earlier in the season. The fashion commentator shared his opinion of the star and said, “I think he is a kind person. I feel he is a bit misunderstood. People have made him come across as [Kabir Singh]… Who wouldn’t like a friend like that? I would love to have a friend like that who is just fighting all my battles for me. I think he’s a very nice person, and outside of their friendship in the house, I wouldn’t say he was best friends with [anyone]… he was amicable with everybody. There was not a single person who had an issue with him of any sort. I thought he was very chill.”
Harshad and Shivangi were paired together in the TV drama series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4 last year. However, Sufi went on to add, “I feel he was playing for Shivangi only. I don’t feel it’s about lover also. When there is two best friends and one likes something more and another likes another less. Maybe Harshad knows that Shivangi wants to be on the show far more than him, and that’s why he’s doing all this for her. We don’t know the inside of their brains and what they are thinking. I don’t want to judge people; I’m a nice girl.”
