British company was Royal Enfield, Indian company bought
Royal Enfield’s bike has been a part of Indian culture for more than 60 years. The company was founded in England in 1901. The construction of the Royal Enfield bike in India did not begin until 1955. The first Royal Enfield bike made in India was 350cc bullet. Bullet became increasingly popular among Indian riders. In the 1980s, Royal Enfield was caught in money. In 1994 it was bought by Indian company Eicher Motors. Eicher Motors invested heavily in Royal Enfield and rejuvenated it.

The Royal Enfield bike is being liked from America to Europe. Its demand is increasing worldwide. In FY 2024-25, Royal Infield exported 28278 bikes. It exported 48540 till June 2025. It has made its place in the classic and cruiser bike segment. It comes with a strong texture, as it is fantastic in appearance. Royal Enfield focused on the first 350cc segment. In view of the demand for more powerful engines in the US and Europe, it launched models like Continental GT 650, Super Metaur 650, Classic 650, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Royal Enfield Beer 650, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 with 650cc engine. These bikes with parallel twin engines are more demanded abroad.
