The term ‘crowded’ can not be better explained than by representing it with how ‘crowded’ Indian metros and trains can most of the time be- especially the Mumbai local train- which at this point in time, has become infamous for being too crowded.
The internet is full of videos and instances where the number of passengers was to the level that it ended up creating a stampede-like situation. Adding another such incident to the list, a video was recently shared online, which showed a Mumbai local train coach full of passengers trying to stand still as the overcrowded train moved. The clip turned into the very definition of ‘claustrophobia’, as there was hardly any space between the commuters. What triggered the internet the most was seemingly the normalisation of such a situation, which was visible in the smiling faces of most passengers.
The clip was quick to go viral and raise multiple questions on India’s ‘way of living’ and its ‘quality of life’. Times Now could not confirm the exact time and authenticity of the post.
“Daily Mumbai’s Local train Commute,” the post read.
