Liverpool will reportedly look to strengthen in another key area while also chasing a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. The Reds have already made a flying start to the summer window, with Arne Slot welcoming four new players to his squad. Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi have all joined the Merseyside giants over the last few weeks.
Guehi could reportedly become their fifth signing of the window after being identified as a potential replacement for Jarell Quansah, who is heading to Bayer Leverkusen. Palace are said to be open to selling Guehi, who only has 12 months remaining on his current contract. However, it has been claimed that Liverpool are unwilling to pay over the odds and will only advance their interest if a bargain deal can be done.
Alongside their pursuit of Guehi, the Reds have been tipped to make another signing to further boost their attacking ranks. They want another left-sided winger to complement their existing options in the final third, according to Sky Sport Germany.
Liverpool are said to be ‘looking’ at their options in the transfer market, with a number of targets being ‘closely monitored’. They are only interested in signing a ‘top-class’ player, which suggests another expensive deal could be on the horizon.
A new striker is also thought to be on Liverpool’s shopping list ahead of the new Premier League campaign. They are widely expected to lose Darwin Nunez, who is a target for newly-crowned Italian champions Napoli.

Nunez has reportedly informed Napoli that he is ready to leave Liverpool and make a fresh start in Serie A. However, it is claimed the Italian giants are willing to bide their time in hope of reducing his £70m asking price.
The likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen have all been tipped to replace Nunez at Liverpool, but only time will tell if any of the trio end up moving to Anfield before the start of next season.
According to reports in Italy, the Reds could even explore the idea of a sensational double swoop for both Isak and Osimhen.
El-Hadji Diouf, the former Liverpool forward, has already said that he would love to see Osimhen make the switch to Anfield.
