Suddenly wild animals entered the house
This incident is from Naugawan village in Jaitpur (Bah) region. Around 1:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon, farmer Ashish Kumar’s wife Reema was washing utensils in the courtyard of the house. Arpita, a three -year -old daughter, was playing nearby. Then suddenly a wild animal entered the house after closing the wall and pounced on the girl directly.

Mother competed like a lioness
On hearing Arpita’s scream, Reema came forward without delay. The animal started grabbing and pulling the girl, but the mother clashed like a lioness. Unarmed Reema fought with full force. Both were injured in this struggle that lasted for about three to four minutes, but finally the wild animal lost in front of Reema’s courage and escaped.
Leopard or jackal? Discussion among villagers
The villagers also reached the spot after hearing the screams of Reema and the girl. Hearing the noise, the animal ran towards the forest. Some of the eyewitnesses described him as a leopard and some jackal. However, the forest department says that the presence of leopards in Jaitpur area has not been confirmed so far.
Mother-daughter injured, treatment continues in hospital
Arpita suffered deep injuries on her head and face, while Reema had wounds on her head and hands. Both were first taken to the Community Health Center, then referred to SN Medical College in view of the critical condition. According to doctors, both of them are currently stable.
Demand to increase panic, patrol in village

Villagers say that wild animals often appear due to the proximity of the fields and forests, but the attack in the courtyard of the house has taken place for the first time.
