The first day of Argentina’s world champion superstar footballer Lionel Messi’s tour to India started with chaos but ended without any drama. The very first event of Lionel Messi, who arrived in India on the morning of Saturday 13th December, was full of chaos in Kolkata. But the organizers heaved a sigh of relief as everything went as per plan in Hyderabad and the event was completed without any problems.
Chaos at Messi’s event in Kolkata
Lionel Messi has come to India after a long wait of almost 14 years. In such a situation, a huge crowd of fans was sure to gather to see him and this is what happened. But the very first event of the day at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium proved to be extremely embarrassing, where Messi stayed for barely 10-15 minutes and had to leave the stadium midway. Due to the chaos in the event, neither Messi could meet the fans properly nor could the fans get a glimpse of him, due to which the event had to be stopped midway and then the fans vandalized the stadium.
