Here the video of a leopard crossing the road in the early hours of the road went viral on social media. As soon as the video surfaced, panic spread among the local people and the forest department team immediately became active.
Passenger imprisoned leopard video
On Sunday morning, a local resident was passing by his car. Suddenly he saw a stir on the road. When he stopped the car, the leopard came out of the front and crossed the road in a few seconds and went towards the forest. This entire visual passer captured in his mobile camera. The video can clearly be seen how the leopard is crossing the road.

Activity of Forest Department and Cantt Board
After the video went viral, the joint team of the Forest Department and the Cantt Board reached the spot. Officers also found leopard’s pugs there. DFO Lucknow Shitanshu Pandey said that the pugs have been found near the sugarcane institute. After this, trap cameras were installed in the area and the duty of employees was imposed in 8-8 hours shift to monitor the activities of the leopard.
Instructions to increase patrolling at night, atmosphere of panic among people
In view of security, the forest department has issued instructions to increase night patrolling in the area. Continuous patrolling is being done so that any unpleasant situation can be avoided. Officials say the leopard usually does not attack humans, but its presence can prove to be a threat to people and pets.
Local people are scared of leopard presence. He says that the leopard has appeared here before. In such a situation, people are hesitating to send children and the elderly out of the house. The forest department has appealed to the residents to avoid getting out alone at night, keep pets in a safe place and if the leopard is seen again, immediately inform the control room.
