Her death was confirmed by a close friend, Ron Roberts, through an emotional post on Facebook. While the exact cause of her death is still unknown, Ron shared that Connie was in “extreme pain” and was undergoing medical tests after recovering from her recent hip treatment.
The news of her death came after she was admitted to the hospital following a health scare that had made her fans worried. However, her condition worsened, and she was eventually moved to the Intensive Care Unit.
