Today in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, the brave K-9 dog “EGO” of the 74th battalion of CRPF was given a final farewell with full military honors. During his service period, EGO made invaluable contribution to the security of the country – carried out heroic actions like searching for IEDs, operating in Naxal areas and saving the lives of many soldiers. “EGO” breathed its last on 28 October 2025, and was bid farewell with full honors on 29 October. The eyes of the officers and soldiers were moist at the tribute ceremony, everyone was giving the last salute to their comrade.
