A major road accident has occurred in Herat, the western province of Afghanistan. A passenger bus collided with a truck and motorcycle here, after which the bus caught fire. At least 71 people died in this accident, including 17 children. Provincial government spokesperson Ahmedullah Mottaki said that this is the most frightening road accident of recent times. He said, “The bus collided with a truck and motorcycle in Herat, killing 71 people.”
