Bikaner Major Medical Accident: A major medical accident has come to light on Friday night in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. The health of six children suddenly deteriorated due to the same injection during treatment at the Satellite City Hospital here. The condition of one of these children is said to be serious, which was immediately referred to PBM, the largest government hospital in Bikaner. The remaining five children are currently undergoing treatment at the satellite hospital and their condition is said to be stable.
How did this accident happen in Bikaner?
- According to the information, all the children were suffering from fever and other common diseases. He was admitted on Friday evening. During treatment, when the children were given a special antibiotic injection, their health started deteriorating in a few minutes. According to the family, the children started getting cold as soon as the injections started, some started getting seizures. Seeing the situation being serious, a team of doctors was immediately called and the children were given emergency treatment.
- Suddenly deteriorating condition caused chaos in the hospital. The families of the children allege that the nursing staff injected without investigation. Angry relatives sought answers from the hospital administration and tried to find out overnight that the negligence was caused. After the incident, there was a huge crowd and uproar in the hospital premises.
- In view of the seriousness of the case ban on injection, Dr. Sunil Harsh of the hospital immediately took action. He ordered to stop the supply of the injection and sealed all the consignment of the drug. Also, a three -member inquiry committee has been constituted, including Dr. Praveen Chaturvedi, Dr. Anita Singh and a nursing superintendent. This team will find out whether the case is of drug failure or the negligence of the staff. The process of removing the concerned nursing employee has also been started.
