When a man gave a bad review of a house he rented on Airbnb, the landlady sent a video to his wife in revenge. In this video the man was with another woman. As a result, the marriage broke down and now the matter has reached the court.
Commenting and giving our opinion is like our birth right. Be it on the street or on social media, people comment anything. Many times people cross all limits of civilization. Due to such bad comments, many people in India have also gone to the police station and court. But now such a case has come to light, where due to one bad comment, a person’s entire house was destroyed. It so happened that a man took a house on rent for a few months. After vacating the house, he wrote a negative review. What happened next, the landlady became furious with anger. He scanned the CCTV footage and sent a video of the tenant to his wife, in which he was having fun with another woman.

Airbnb is an American vacation rental company. It is an online platform where people can book homestays, rented houses or rooms for a few days or for a longer period. It works somewhat like our other homestay services, where people earn by listing their properties. Through this Airbnb, a person had rented a house for a few months.
One negative comment and it created an uproar
That man came to live in this house with his wife. After staying for a few months he vacated the house. But after vacating the house, he wrote a very bad review about that house on the Airbnb website. She wrote that the house was ‘suffocating’ and she wanted her money back. He also wrote that the house was ‘not fit to live in, cannot be lived in even for an hour’. Due to this negative comment, the landlady had to face some penalties from Airbnb and faced difficulties like re-registration. On top of that, the man also called the landlady and threatened her to return the money. The landlady asked him to remove the comment, but he did not agree.
Due to this the landlady’s temper rose. He decided to take revenge. She went back to her rental house and started checking the CCTV footage. After scanning several days of recordings from the cameras installed in the front and back of the house, he found something that he did not expect. The footage showed that when the tenant’s wife was not at home, another woman would come to the house. When he looked more carefully, he realized that the tenant was dancing with the woman, hugging and both were very close.
The landlady cut these video clips and sent them directly to the tenant’s wife. That’s where the whole game changed. The wife’s anger reached sky high after watching the video. She accused her husband of cheating and threw her out of the house. Because of one comment, that man’s marriage broke and he came on the streets. Now that person has filed a case against the landlady in the court. He has alleged that the landlady has interfered in his privacy.
