In the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, an interesting contest is being seen not only between political parties but also between two brothers of the same family. Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, both sons of former Bihar CM and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, are now on the electoral front against each other. While Tejashwi is the chief ministerial candidate of the Grand Alliance, Tej Pratap is in the fray under the banner of his new party Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD). Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting from Mahua seat, where RJD has made sitting MLA Mukesh Roshan its candidate.
