Lalu Yadav on Voter Rights Yatra: Lalu Yadav said that the voter rights journey is a fight to save the right to vote and the BJP is conspiring to snatch it. Tejashwi Yadav alleged that democracy and constitution are in danger.
Patna News: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav said about the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ starting from Sasaram that we are fighting to save people’s franchise. He said that through the BJP and the Election Commission ‘SIR’, people are plotting to deprive people of their franchise. We will not let them succeed.
Unannounced emergency is going on in the country – Lalu
Lalu Prasad Yadav, while talking to the media, claimed that the current situation of the country is worse than the Emergency. Unannounced emergency is going on in the country. On the voter Adhikar Yatra, he further said that all the leaders of the Grand Alliance including Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav are joining the visit. We are fighting and winning this fight.

Democracy and Constitution in danger – Tejashwi Yadav
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said about the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ that democracy and constitution are in danger, this journey is being done to save it. This journey is to fulfill the responsibility of protecting the principle of constitutional rights of voters, especially ‘one person, one opinion’. The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to weaken constitutional institutions by rigging the voter list and snatching the franchise. Bihar is the mother of democracy, democracy will not be allowed to end here and the loot of votes will be stopped. Some people are being declared dead in the voter list despite being alive, which is an attack on the franchise.

Conspiracy to end democracy- Tejashwi
According to Tejashwi, the people of Bihar have understood the dictatorship of the BJP and our journey will get the love and support of the people. Responding to the BJP’s allegations, Tejashwi said that anti -Constitution people are trying to silence those who raise questions and are plotting to end democracy.
Not afraid of going to jail
At the Election Commission’s press conference, Tejashwi said that the reply will be given after the talks. However, the Commission has already received a befitting reply from the Supreme Court. Attacking the BJP, he said that he can do dictatorship and send anyone to jail, but we are not afraid of going to jail.
