The Independence Day was celebrated in a tremendous manner across the country. Lighting of a grand tricolor was first performed at the historic Clock tower at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, which led to the color of patriotism. Through this initiative, there is a feeling of pride and enthusiasm among the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. Similarly, the colorful light of the tricolor at India Gate, Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar and many other places in Delhi drenched the capital with the energy of patriotism. This initiative not only enhances the beauty of historical sites, but also gives a new life to the unity, dedication and pride of the country.
