The upcoming raw and rustic entertainer ‘Anakapalli’ is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on October 2. Produced by Kandregula Naidu and Thrinadha Rao Nakkina under the banners of Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives, the film features Vikram Sahidev, Sandhya Vasishta and Tarak Ponnappa in prominent roles.
Directed by Khagesh Tammineni, the film has story and screenplay by Thrinadha Rao Nakkina, while Kandregula Kumar Raja serves as co-producer. Ahead of its release, the team interacted with the media and shared their experiences of making the film.
Speaking at the media meet, Lagadapati Sridhar said that ‘Anakapalli’ has been made with considerable effort and deserves to achieve success.
“‘Anakapalli’ is arriving on October 2. The film was originally supposed to release in August, but we screened it for several people, took their suggestions and made further improvements,” Lagadapati Sridhar said.
He thanked Thrinadha Rao Nakkina for approaching Vikram Sahidev for the project and giving the young actor an opportunity to be part of the film.
“I had asked Nakkina garu a long time ago to make a film for me, and I am grateful to him for giving Vikram such a wonderful opportunity. ‘Anakapalli’ deserves to become a big success, especially considering the hard work Naidu garu has put in and his passion for the project,” he added.
Sridhar also highlighted the performances of the lead actors and teased some key elements from the film.
“Sandhya’s character will be something new, while Tarak Ponnappa will frighten the audience with his performance. The interval sequence and climax will be surprising. The music and background score have also come out exceptionally well. I believe this film will appeal to audiences,” he said.
Nakkina Trinaadha Rao On ‘Anakapalli’
Thrinadha Rao Nakkina said that producing the film helped him understand the challenges producers face while bringing a movie to audiences. He described ‘Anakapalli’ as a love story with strong family emotions and revealed that the interval twist and climax would be important highlights.
He also praised Vikram Sahidev for his hard work and expressed confidence that the film would give the actor recognition. Nakkina further appreciated the performances of Sandhya Vasishta and Tarak Ponnappa.
