Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave ₹ 1836 crore to 1.25 crore Ladli sisters in Makhan Nagar and ₹ 90 crore for gas cylinders to 29 lakh sisters. Also inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth ₹206 crore.
Narmadapuram. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of ₹ 1836 crore to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore Ladli sisters under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana in a program organized at Makhan Nagar in Narmadapuram district. Along with this, assistance amounting to more than ₹ 90 crore was also given to 29 lakh sisters for gas cylinder refilling.
Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works costing more than ₹ 206 crore. These projects will strengthen the infrastructure in the area and give impetus to local development.
Dear sisters should become self-reliant and respected, this is the resolution of the government.
The Chief Minister said that today an amount of ₹1,836 crore has been directly transferred to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore Ladli Sisters. He said that till now an amount of more than ₹ 50,000 crore has been transferred to the accounts of the sisters under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana. The government has resolved that the sisters of the state should become self-reliant, empowered and respected.
Work in mission mode on G-Y-A-N (Poor, Youth, Annadata and Women) in Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state is being continuously developed under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country, where work is being done in mission mode for the empowerment of poor, youth, farmers and women (GYAN). Women empowerment is the priority of the state government.

The Chief Minister said that Mulberry silk of Narmadapuram is famous across the country. Here 50 didis have become millionaires by starting industries related to thread manufacturing. He said that the sisters will be trained and linked to self-help groups, so that they can get involved in employment and self-employment.
The year 2026 is ‘Farmer Welfare Year’, agriculture will be linked with industry and employment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has declared the year 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year. During this period, agriculture will be linked to employment and industry. The government is continuously working to provide fair prices to farmers for wheat, paddy and pulses.

During the program organized in Makhan Nagar, the Chief Minister made many important announcements including irrigation project, construction of bridge, four lane road, construction of new rooms in Makhanlal Chaturvedi College, SDM office, Makhan Nagar Tehsil building and fire brigade facility.
Inauguration of rest house built at a cost of ₹ 137.94 lakh
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also inaugurated the rest house constructed by the Public Works Department at a cost of ₹ 137.94 lakh in Makhan Nagar. This rest house will be useful for the officials and visitors coming to the area.
