Kylie Jenner honored her late grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, by sharing three photographs from her childhood with older sister Kendall Jenner.
The tribute came three days after Kris Jenner announced that MJ had died at age 91.
The photographs show Kylie and Kendall with MJ during different stages of their childhood, including two occasions when the sisters wore matching outfits. Another image included MJ’s late husband, Harry Shannon.
The family photographs followed tributes from Kris, Kim Kardashian and other relatives who remembered MJ’s influence across several generations of the Kardashian-Jenner family.

One photograph shows MJ standing behind a young Kylie and Kendall as the sisters pose outdoors in matching black-and-white animal-print coats. MJ wears sunglasses and a pink wrap over a plaid shirt.
In another image, Kylie and Kendall stand between their grandparents while wearing coordinated pale floral dresses and large bows in their hair. Harry wears a white suit, while MJ appears beside the girls in pink.

Kylie had already created a permanent tribute to her grandmother in 2016. She revealed a red script tattoo reading “Mary Jo,” explaining that the design reproduced her grandmother’s name in her grandfather’s handwriting, according to .
MJ also appeared in a Mother’s Day gallery Kylie posted on May 11. One photograph brought together Kylie, MJ, Kris, Kim, Natalie Zettel and Cici Bussey, marking one of MJ’s final public appearances before her death.
Viewers knew MJ through her appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Kardashians. She also regularly joined the family for holidays, birthdays and other gatherings shown on their social media accounts.
Kris Jenner Called MJ the ‘Heart of Our Family’
Kris announced her mother’s death in a July 16 Instagram post. “My mom was the heart of our family,” she wrote, crediting MJ with teaching her children and grandchildren about kindness, resilience and unconditional love.
“When I look at my kids and my grandkids, I will forever see pieces of you in all of us,” Kris added. A cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.

Kim shared her own collection of family photographs and called MJ her “best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin.” She said she had spent the week before MJ’s death beside her grandmother and mother.
Kim also credited MJ with giving her a first job at Shannon & Co., the children’s boutique MJ founded in San Diego in 1980. She said the experience taught her about work ethic, confidence and running a business before ending her tribute with, “YOU ARE THE BEST OF US!!!!”
