Kurnool Bus Fire: At least 20 people are feared dead after a fire broke out in an AC bus of Kaveri Travels going from Hyderabad to Bengaluru near Chinna Tekur in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. About 21 passengers were successful in jumping out of the bus by breaking the glass, thereby saving their lives. Those who did not get a chance to come out burned to death there. 20 people died in the accident
After this accident, the police and administration team immediately reached the spot. At present the police is seriously investigating this matter. Initial investigation revealed that the bus had hit a bike due to which the bike got stuck under the bus and caught fire. This fire spread in the bus and an accident like explosion occurred.

How did the bus catch fire?
DIG Koya Praveen said that this private bus was going from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and there were more than 40 passengers in it. A fire broke out after the collision with the bike, but due to the flammable materials present inside the bus, such a terrible accident happened and many people died on the spot. He also said that the fuel tank was safe but there were not enough safety precautions to prevent the bus from catching fire. Let us tell you that out of 20 bodies, 11 have been identified, while 9 are yet to be identified. Officials also said that after the fire, the door of the bus got jammed, due to which the passengers were unable to get out.
