“#Kumarasambavam (3.25/5) A different concept with a unique screenplay. The 1st half takes time to set up but the 2nd half picks up well. Comedy worked well in the 2nd half with a mix of emotions, surprises & Twists. : If you enjoy dark comedy, this movie is for you (sic),” Sugumar Srinivasan tweeted.

Journalist Rajasekhar wrote on X, “There is no double meaning comedy yet the film brings the roof down in many sequences in the second half. The one liners are not shaming anyone , in fact a character apologies for unintentionally body shaming someone. This might be a spoiler but there is no stereotypical villain the film.”

“The film gives you the Visu, Crazy Mohan (not the ones with Kamal) comedy vibe throughout. After his likeable directorial debut #LuckyMan (many of you wouldn’t have seen it but do try and watch it. If you like Lucky Man, you will end up liking this even more) @balajesaar has come up with yet another clean comedy entertainer (sic),” he added.

Kumaara Sambavam stars Kumaran Thangarajan, Payal Radhakrishna, Kumaravel, Bala Saravanan, G. M. Kumar, Vinod Sagar, and Livingston. The movie has been directed by Balaji Venugopal.
