While the off-field drama took centre stage, which ended with the Indian team not getting a trophy to celebrate their triumph, the Men in Blue produced a stunning campaign which saw them win their third multi-national trophy in a row and unbeaten.
The Suryakaumar Yadav-led team won the continental showpiece tournament for a record-extending ninth time and became the first team for the second time in history.

Abhishek Sharma (10/10): Abhishek Sharma was in a dream run of form with the bat in the tournament; he put a record tally of 314 runs at an average of 44.85 with a strike-rate of 200.00. The star batter’s explosive start at the top made the difference for the Men in Blue.
Shubman Gill (3/10): Shubman Gill’s return to the team in T20Is was not ideal as he was given the opening spot back with 127 runs in seven innings at an average of 21.16 with a highest-score of 47 and no half-centuries. He had an impressive strike-rate of 151.19
Suryakumar Yadav (3/10): Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav’s dreadful form with the bat in T20Is for India continued with 72 runs in seven innings at an average of 18 with a strike-rate of just 101.40. He had the highest score of 47. However, his captaincy was largely impressive, which gives him bonus points.
Tilak Varma (9/10): The hero of India’s victory in the final, Tilak Varma played a knock for ages with a knock of 69 in 53 balls. Although his batting time was limited before the final, the 22-year-old put up a near-flawless display as he made 213 runs at an average of 71 and a strike-rate of 131.48.
Hardik Pandya (5/10): Hardik Pandya missed the final due to an injuy but played six games, he made 48 runs in four innings, including a vital knock of 48 runs, while he also took four wickets.
Sanju Samson (5/10): After losing his opening spot, Sanju Samson was rotated around the batting unit. He got four chances to bat and made 132 runs at an average of 33 with a strike-rate of 124.52, including one half-century.

Kuldeep Yadav (10/10): Kuldeep Yadav made a point after being benched in the England test series for all five games. Kuldeep finished the tournament with a world record tally of 17 wickets with an economy of 6.27.
Varun Chakravarthy (8/10): While a few catches were dropped of his bowling, Varun Chakravarthy continued his top form in T20Is with seven wickets in six games at an economy of 18.50.
Arshdeep Singh (4/10):Arshdeep Singh only played two games, which were both dead rubbers against Oman and Sri Lanka. He took two wickets at an economy of 10.37. However, he bowled the vital super over in the win against the 2022 champions.
Harshit Rana (2/10): Harshit Rana only played the inconsequential games against Oman and Sri Lanka. The pacer had a nightmare outing with two wickets at an economy of 11.28 .
