KTM 160 Duke Teaser: KTM has released a second teaser of its 160 Duke bike, which is set to launch soon in India. From the teaser, we can deduce that the upcoming model will have a silhouette with styling similar to the Duke range. A handful of other details can be made out from the recently released teaser, including alloy wheels. The wheels are signature bright orange, and their styling mimics the bigger 390 Duke.
KTM 160 Duke: What to Expect?
As mentioned earlier, the KTM 160 Duke is likely to borrow most of the underpinnings and mechanical components from the 200 Duke. This means that the engine will be a detuned version of a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Whereas the 200 Duke develops 24.6bhp and 19.3Nm of torque with a six-speed transmission, the 160 Duke is expected to churn out around 20 bhp and 15 Nm.
We also expect the bike to share the platform, suspension, and braking components with the 200 Duke. To refresh your memory, the 200 Duke uses a trellis frame, suspended by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Stopping power comes from disc brakes, and wheels are 17-inch alloy units.

Styling-wise, the bike is likely to sport a twin-headlamp setup, all-LED lighting, a sculpted fuel tank, a stepped-up seat, and a slim tail section. On the features front, expect the bike to come with dual-channel ABS and a TFT digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
Upon launch in India, the KTM 160 Duke will rival the Yamaha MT 15, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
