Karan Johar-hosted The Traitors season 2 ended on a jaw-dropping note. The nail-biting climax episode that premiered on Thursday (September 3) had the audience hooked throughout. The winners of The Traitors Season 2 are Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana. Both were the Traitors of the season. While Krystle played a smart game and remained a Traitor since the first episode, Rida was an Innocent who switched sides later. They defeated Mallika Sherawat, Shalini Passi, Sahil Salathia and Dalip Tahil in the finale episode. The top three of the season were Krystle, Rida and Shalini.
Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana win The Traitors 2 title
In the finale episode, Mallika Sherawat was murdered by the Traitors, evicting her from the winner’s race. When Shalini asked Dalip who could have murdered Mallika, he guessed Sahil. They also predicted Rida to be the Traitor. Krystle informed Rida about Shalini’s observations about her behaviour. The remaining five players were given a task that could add more money to the prize pot. For that, they had to collect gold bars that were attached to camels. In the end, the total amount in the prize pot was Rs 66 lakh.
Dalip Tahil got eliminated in the final Circle Of Shaq. Sahil was out of the race before Shalini. Krystle and Rida were the Traitors who won the show.
What is The Traitors
The Traitors is a psychological reality game show where a group of celebrities competes to win a substantial prize money, but not everyone is playing fair. In the premiere episode, host Karan Johar secretly designated a small group of players as ‘Traitors’. The rest are Innocents. The Traitors’ goal is to eliminate the Innocents without getting caught. The Innocents must identify and vote out the Traitors before facing elimination. Each day, players complete team missions to build up the prize money. Each night, the Traitors convene secretly to ‘murder’ an Innocent, who is then immediately eliminated. By the following morning, the remaining players only know that someone is missing from the breakfast table.
Each night players gather at the Circle of Shaq, where all players gather to debate and vote to banish whoever they believe is a Traitor. When the final group decides unanimously to end the game, the surviving players reveal their true identities. If all remaining players are Innocents, they split the prize. If even one Traitor survives, they take everything.
