Krrish 4: K-Pop Idol Jackson Wang Denies Being Part Of Hrithik Roshan Starrer, Says ‘It Was Just A Joke’

K-pop star Jackson Wang has put an end to the ongoing rumours about his Bollywood debut. After days of speculation linking him to the much-awaited film Krrish 4 , the singer-rapper has confirmed that he is not involved in the project.

In a video interview with the Press Trust of India (PTI), Jackson responded to the buzz, calling it all “fake news.” He explained that the misunderstanding came from a private joke he shared with a friend. “It’s fake news. It’s a big movie, so I’ve never acted before, so it’s impossible for me (to do it). This is a joke between him (his friend) and me. So, it was just entertaining news,” he said.

How it all started?

The rumours started when some online posts claimed Jackson would appear in Krrish 4, either in a cameo or a small role. Fans were quick to imagine a K-pop and Bollywood crossover. The idea took off on social media, with fan edits and excitement spreading fast.

Jackson had earlier joked about being in Krrish 4 during a chat with Pinkvilla. At the time, he funnily said, “I’m in it. I’m the new Krrish. I’m just kidding. I’m sorry, I’m an extrovert-please accept that. I like to mix sh*t up. Maybe I’m gonna tell him tonight.”

While Jackson won’t be in the film, he did recently spend time with the Roshan family during a visit to India to promote his album. Rakesh Roshan even posted a group photo on Instagram, welcoming Jackson warmly with the caption, “Jackson welcome & God bless!” The photo featured Jackson posing alongside Pinkie Roshan, Rakesh, and Hrithik. He twinned with Hrithik in black. Take a look at the photo below:
