How to make Tteok-Bokki
Material
- Rice Cake – 1 cup
- Water – 2 cups
- Green Onions (Scallions) – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) – 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
- Sesame Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Boiled eggs (option)

method of making
- First, heat water in a pan. Then, add the gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and garlic, and mix everything well.
- When the sauce starts boiling, add the rice cakes to the pan. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Finally, drizzle sesame oil on top and sprinkle green onions. If you want to further enhance the taste, you can also add boiled eggs or cheese to it.
