KL Rahul and Delhi Capitals (DC) have denied the rumours of the star batter leaving the franchise before the IPL 2027 mini-auction. DC’s co-owner, Parth Jindal, heaped praise of ‘clutch player’ Rahul and said that they still have unfinished business.
“KL IS KLUTCH FOR @DelhiCapitals – one of the nicest guys i know and one who puts the team before himself always. We have unfinished business and will work hard together to make Delhi proud @IPL,” Jindal wrote on X.
Rahul was quick to react to Jindal’s post and wrote that he couldn’t wait for the new season. “Thank you , can’t wait for the coming season,” Rahul wrote. Their conversation has confirmed that Rahul isn’t going anywhere and he will continue to play for the Delhi-based franchise.
Rahul has captained Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (in the IPL). Both teams failed to play a final under his leadership.
