New Delhi: Australia all-rounder Cameron Green became the most expensive overseas player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) signed him for a whopping Rs 25.20 crore at the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. KKR beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in an intense bidding war for the Aussie star, who was expected to emerge as the costliest buy at the IPL 2026 acution.
