People who come from South India are expert in this work, because coconut is used in most of the things there, but in the food of North India coconut is sometimes required, hence removing its hard shell and taking out the kernel can seem like a troublesome task. For this, you have to hit the three lines around the coconut with a rolling pin or any heavy object, due to which the coconut breaks easily and the peel also becomes a little loose. After this, with the help of a knife, the coconut kernel will be easily separated from the peel. Then immediately put it in cold water.

How to cut jackfruit

Often cutting jackfruit seems very difficult, because the sticky milk coming out of it sticks to the hands and it is also difficult to use a knife because its peel is very thick. If you are cutting whole jackfruit then it may take even more time. Apply mustard oil on the upper part of the knife. If you hold the knife with your right hand, apply oil on your left hand. Cut a little of the upper part of the jackfruit (the side with the stalk) and keep it for some time. Due to which all its milk will start coming out. Leave it for one to 2 minutes and then you have to adopt the same method from the other side also. After this, clean it with milk and then with the help of a sharp knife you have to cut the jackfruit from the middle. This work has to be done by rotating it from both the sides. After this, remove the milk from the middle stem also and your jackfruit will be easily peeled and cut.

How to cut cabbage?

If there is a lot of mess while cutting cabbage and you are not able to cut it in a refined manner, then the simple way is to first cut it into two parts from the middle. Then separate the stem and cut it into one piece each, that is, you have to cut the cabbage into 4 parts. After this, separate a few layers of leaves and apply pressure with your palm and cut the entire cabbage into desired shapes. With this, cabbage is chopped very easily and cleanly.

The right way to cut broccoli

Often when we cut cabbage or broccoli, we cut it straight from the middle and divide it into two parts, but this is the wrong way to cut it. The way to chop cabbage the right way is to chop its stem. Keep separating each flower from it. Due to which even after cooking it will look very good.
