Chasoti village of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir has caused heavy destruction due to floods. Local administration and rescue teams continue the search and rescue operations. Teams are constantly working to safely evacuate the people trapped in the flood affected area. Due to floods in Kishtwar, many houses have been flooded, which requires immediate relief to many families. The administration has given shelter to the displaced by setting up relief camps. Along with the army and police, local workers are also helping in rescue operations. Rescue teams are cautious due to the Meteorological Department issued heavy rainfall warnings. To deal with this disaster, the administration has declared an emergency and relief work is being given priority. Additional resources are also being provided to expedite rescue and relief operations.
