His aircraft will try to land in Jammu again in the afternoon. The Defense Minister was coming to Jammu to take stock of the destructive flood situation in Chashoti village of Kishtwar on August 14. About 70 people died in this flood and the infrastructure suffered heavy damage. He wanted to inspect the relief campaign being run by the army, security forces and disaster management agencies there.
Rajnath Singh returned due to lack of aircraft land
To welcome him, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, Deputy Chief of Army Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, Sixteen Core GOC of the Army, State BJP President Sat Sharma, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA Vikram Randhawa, and administrative officials arrived at the technical airport at eleven and a half in the morning. But he had to return due to lack of aircraft.

Defense minister will be touched when the weather is fixed
The Meteorological Department had predicted heavy rains and cloudbursts or sudden floods in the hilly districts of Jammu division. Due to this, heavy rain alert has also been released from 23 to 26 August. Now the Defense Minister will hold a high -level meeting in Jammu if the weather is cured in the afternoon and will take stock of the progress of relief work in Chashoti. Along with this, he will also go to Jammu Medical College Hospital to know the condition of the people injured in the flood.
