A decade after the infamous Paris hotel robbery, television personality and business mogul Kim Kardashian has become a victim of burglary again. Her Los Angeles mansion, located in the posh Hidden Hills area, was targeted in an alleged attempt to rob the property. Kim and her family have been living in another rental property while their home undergoes renovations, according to reports. A 27-year-old man has reportedly been arrested for allegedly breaking into the $60 million mansion and taking one of her luxury cars for a joyride. The 45-year-old TV celebrity is yet to issue an official statement, but several shocking details have surfaced online.

A man has been taken into police custody after allegedly breaking into ’s Calabasas property and taking one of her cars for a joyride. He was arrested on charges of burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner’s permission.
Reportedly, police arrived at the reality star’s mansion around 4 PM on Sunday, August 9, after receiving a call about the incident. A spokesperson for the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station later confirmed the arrest. According to 911 audio obtained by The US Sun, security guards spotted the suspect putting items inside a white Lexus at the property. He then allegedly drove the vehicle around the area.
Kim and her family were not at the mansion when the incident took place, according to TMZ.

This is not the first time has faced a serious security incident. In 2016, she was robbed at gunpoint after a group of thieves entered the Paris apartment where she was staying. The robbers, disguised as police officers, had stolen jewellery worth around $10 million. The incident took place when Kim was alone in the apartment with stylist Simone Harouche. Her sister Kourtney Kardashian and former assistant Stephanie Shepherd, who were also staying with her, had stepped out.
The reality show star has opened up about the horrifying incident on multiple occasions and recalled the disturbing details, often breaking down in tears.
Last year, the accused men were convicted in the case and found guilty of the crime. Reacting to this, Kim said in a statement, “I am deeply grateful to the French authorities for pursuing justice in this case. The crime was the most terrifying experience of my life, leaving a lasting impact on me and my family.”
