Kia Syros Electric:  Kia launched the Syros in India on February 1, 2025, and the sub-4-metre SUV began with a strong start in the country. Now, an all-electric iteration of the Syros was spotted recently overseas. This is the first time that the test mule of the upcoming Kia Syros EV has been spotted, and it hints at what the production version could look like in terms of design. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and range of the Kia Syros electric.

Kia Syros Electric: Expected Design

The mule was heavily disguised during the testing, but it hints at the same boxy contour as the ICE counterpart. LED Taillights, Alloy wheels, and taillights were partially exposed during the testing, and these elements relate to the mule to the Syros. The radar unit, parking sensors, and outside rear view mirrors were also partially covered. The green brake calipers on the wheels were also visible, and Kia usually offers such calipers with its performance EVs, such as the EV9 GT, globally.

Kia Syros Electric: Expected Specs

Not much is known about the Kia Syros EV at this moment. However, we expect it to feature a Front Wheel Drive powertrain, and it is anticipated that the electric Syros will share its platform with the Hyundai Inster EV. The battery pack is expected to be sourced from Hyundai as well, and we anticipate that the Kia Syros electric can be offered in two variants: a 42 kWh and a 49 kWh battery pack, and it might deliver a claimed range of up to 355 kilometers, once fully charged.
